i had the same experience. start up was... awkward. BUT, and this is a big but. i was tweeting my experience and customer services was on the ball! i had a reply (from a human) in 30 minutes about my concerns and questions.

I have noticed improvements in the set up procedure since 2 months ago when i signed up.... It is a beta, and they are listening to their customer base.

I can also say, i'm using the zoompass app on my curve... UI is vastly superior to the mobile site. they didnt have the app for my Android G1. I'll keep you posted on the pre app (but i doubt there will be one)

This is the thing... you are my only friend using the services. which makes this useful for... paying my poker bill next time we're at the cottage. :) For me, zoompass and i have a big case of the "early adopterites". it would be nice if all new accounts came with 5 gifts of $5. ???

I have a feeling that this is going to be a race between interc and zoompass. I can email money transfer money... but sometimes it takes a couple hours to get the email, there is something to be said for getting it right away.

The real exciting stuff is going to happen with the other stuff you can do with the rfid technology (which i guess is phase 2)

i will be sure to fill up my account... see you at the poker table :)

Thanks for the input Dave - good to hear that the app now works on all blackberry devices.

Looking forward to your next release where some of the issues will be addressed and assuming there will be an iphone app release too!

Hi Phil,

I work on the Thornley Fallis team helping to launch Zoompass.

Thanks for the feedback on the sign-up process. We agree - the process could improve and we're actively looking into how we can improve it.

One point to note - the Zoompass app is available for the entire line of BlackBerry phones and most other phones. Last week's announcement of the Storm app completed our coverage of the entire BlackBerry line, and the app also works on any phone that supports Java. Thanks, too, for the feedback on the iPhone app.

As you mentioned, Zoompass is in beta mode right now. We welcome all of this feedback as we seek ways to further improve Zoompass.

Dave
