AR is all about adding contextual information to what you are already experiencing / seeing... so for example if you are browsing a used car lot on a Sunday when the dealership is closed, your AR browser can tell you the price of the vehicle, how it compares to the one down the street (and where that one is located) and what people in your network have rated / thought about it.

AR can be pure entertainment... or it can be like i blogged about a few weeks ago - the ultimate terminator vision...but for your mobile.

Great idea.
So...what can it do for the consumer when buying a car, checking in at an airport kiosk (or a movie theatre for that matter) or shopping in a supermarket?
