So here it is – my official first video from my new iphone 3G S.

Quality if pretty good – and in typical Apple fashion, it was incredibly easy to capture and edit.

Quality of the picts with the 3 meg camera is also great… but killer feature is the auto-focus ability.

kitty is cleopatra. Her sister Octavia is even saucier :)

Lolly, rogers is giving upgrades early for the new iphone (if you already had an iphone). Not sure about all the details, but its probably worth checking out

Hey David, I am UK based! O2 want me to buy out my current contract (roughly £250) to upgrade and then I’ll have to pay an extra £140 on top for the handset! No way! I’d rather wait a bit longer

Lolly – i’m surprised at how much O2 is charging – especially considering how that market works relative to the North American market.

Having said that, if they are the only carrier in the UK who has them, many people will pay the price.

You may be smart to hold off and either buy one online in a few months, or wait for next year’s upgrade which should be more significant.

It’s quite expensive because I have to buy out my existing contract in order to sign up for a new contract (£25 per month x 10 months) to get the iPhone + the price of the handset (£140 for a 16GB). I am a little annoyed with O2 for not letting me upgrade early as I have been a customer for the past 9 years… Oh well…
